Services and actions within the Status platform can send email notifications both internally within your organization and externally to third parties. This article reviews the options for customizing email notifications.
The following subjects and content can be customized for email notifications sent to third parties through Status:
- Email Subject– you are able to customize the subject line content and also add third party name and/or your company name.
- Email Body– the body content is fully customizable and can include dynamic content such as third party's name, date of order, client name etc. For Corporate Information Questionnaire requests, the username, platform link and password reset instructions will be appended as per the Blue Umbrella format
- Email CC– Status can CC a fixed email address or Status field (i.e. Proposer)
- Email From– the FROM address can be customized in two ways:
- Email sent from Blue Umbrella server – a new email ID will be created (i.e. clientA@blueumbrella.com) which will be used to send emails to all third parties of clientA or you select the default fixed email status@blueumbrella.com
- Emails sent from client server – client can provide an email ID and credentials to Blue Umbrella and emails can be sent to all third parties through the client server. Your IT team will need to whitelist the Blue Umbrella server IP address and add Blue Umbrella to relay emails from your server
- Company logo (Image)– logo can be added within email message to third party
- Reply To– if you want to send emails from clientA@blueumbrella.com, but want your third party to reply to integrity@clientA.com, a "Reply To flag" can be set; however, there are some limitations with Out of Office(OOO) auto-replies as the responses are returned back to original email address. Limitations can be discussed with your Blue Umbrella client success manager.
