User Profiles
Understand how different user profiles give different access and privileges within Status.
User profiles within Status can be created with hierarchy for viewing privileges and access. The functionality for each profile is straight forward:
- Read Only: User can view all data in the Status User Instance but cannot edit, download or order services or add a new third party.
For Due Diligence reports, in order to view a full report in Status, the user is required to download the PDF; however, the high level risks will be visible in the Due Diligence tile. Read Only users will only be able to see the risks and not the full report.
- Read & Edit: can view all data in the Status User Instance and can edit fields (i.e. update basic third party info, add to Issue Tracker, upload external documents to Document Upload tile, add note to Notes tile, change classification, etc.), but CANNOT order any services like third party interactions (i.e. corporate information questionnaires), Monitoring or Due Diligence reports. User can also download Due Diligence reports and/or export data from Status.
- Full Access: full use of all Status functionality.
We can further segment access by setting “hierarchy” by user name by business unit (i.e. Sourcing, Channel Sales, etc). Users also have the ability to view only their third parties or all third parties.
Examples:
- Read Only for EMEA: user will be able to view all third party profile information (including Due Diligence risks if Due Diligence has been ordered and flagged questions from Corporate Information Questionnaire) for third parties belonging to EMEA, but cannot edit or download any information or order services
- Full Access to Sourcing business unit for APAC: user has full access to all functionality with Status, but only for third parties belonging to the APAC theatre AND Sourcing business unit
- Full Access: complete access to all third parties Status.
